Alina Saad Habba, born on March 25, 1984, embarked on a legal career after initially working in the fashion industry. She earned her Juris Doctor from Widener University Commonwealth Law School in 2010 and subsequently founded her own firm, Habba, Madaio and Associates LLP, in March 2020. Her professional trajectory significantly shifted in 2021 when she began representing former President Donald Trump, quickly becoming one of his most visible legal defenders and a frequent media commentator.

Habba's representation of Trump involved several contentious cases. Notably, she was sanctioned alongside Trump for nearly $1 million in January 2023 for filing what a federal judge deemed a "frivolous" lawsuit against Hillary Clinton and others, a ruling upheld by a federal appeals court in November 2025. She also represented Trump in the E. Jean Carroll defamation trials and the civil fraud case brought by the New York Attorney General, cases which Trump ultimately lost.

In December 2024, Habba was named Counselor to the President by Donald Trump.
