Devin Nunes, born on October 1, 1973, began his political career after serving on the College of Sequoias' Board of Trustees and as the California State Director for the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Development section. He was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2002, representing California's 21st and later 22nd congressional districts until 2022.
