Jason David Frank, born on September 4, 1973, in Covina, California, became a global icon through his portrayal of Tommy Oliver in the Power Rangers franchise. His journey into martial arts began at the tender age of four, leading him to earn his first black belt by age twelve and eventually developing his own style, "Toso Kune Do" (Way of the Fighting Fist), in 1994.

Frank's career defining moment came in 1993 when he was cast as Tommy Oliver, initially the villainous Green Ranger, in 'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers'. His character's immense popularity led to him becoming a permanent fixture, evolving into the White Ranger, Red Zeo Ranger, Red Turbo Ranger, and Black Dino Ranger across multiple series and films. His wife, Tammie, later clarified that they were attempting to reconcile at the time of his death and that he had been battling depression.

His final acting project, a Kickstarter-funded film titled "Legend of the White Dragon," which he co-created and starred in, is scheduled for a theatrical release on August 28, 2026.
