Shaun Edward Ricker, known to wrestling fans as LA Knight, embarked on his professional wrestling journey in 2003, initially competing on the independent circuit. His first stint with WWE came in 2013 under the name Slate Randall, though it was short-lived, leading to his release in 2014. Following this, Ricker found considerable success in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), later Impact Wrestling, adopting the persona of Eli Drake. During this period, he became a one-time TNA World Champion, a one-time TNA King of the Mountain Champion, and a one-time TNA World Tag Team Champion, establishing himself as a charismatic and skilled performer.
