What Happened to Lucas Frost Giolito?

Lucas Giolito, a highly touted prospect drafted by the Washington Nationals in 2012, made his MLB debut in 2016 before being traded to the Chicago White Sox. He established himself as a frontline starter with the White Sox, earning an All-Star selection in 2019 and throwing a no-hitter in 2020. His tenure with the White Sox lasted until mid-2023.

The 2023 season marked a period of significant change and struggle for Giolito. After starting with a 3.79 ERA in 21 starts for the White Sox, he was traded to the Los Angeles Angels on July 26, 2023, as part of their push for the postseason.
