Quinton Aaron rose to prominence with his impactful portrayal of Michael Oher in the critically acclaimed 2009 film "The Blind Side," starring alongside Sandra Bullock. This breakout role, which earned Bullock an Academy Award, established Aaron as a recognizable talent in Hollywood. Prior to this, he had made his film debut in Michel Gondry's "Be Kind Rewind" (2008) and appeared in episodes of "Law & Order."

After "The Blind Side," Aaron continued to build a diverse filmography, appearing in independent films and television series such as "1982," "Left Behind," "Greater," "Halfway," and "Mothers and Daughters." As of April 2026, Aaron is undergoing intensive physical therapy at a rehabilitation hospital in Atlanta, working to regain his ability to walk, a process doctors estimate could take months to a year.
