Shreveport, Louisiana, a city historically rooted in the oil and gas industry, has been actively reinventing itself since the economic downturn of the 1980s, focusing on becoming a hub for culture, entertainment, and logistics. One of the most prominent developments is the substantial investment in the entertainment industry. Music mogul Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson's G-Unit Film & Television Louisiana, LLC, announced in January 2026, plans to invest over $124 million in a multi-phase initiative.
