What Happened to Victoria Anne Cranmer?

Victoria Anne Cranmer's recent legal troubles began to unfold in May 2026, when the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCPP) referred a case to the Little Egg Harbor Police Department and the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit. The investigation was initiated after the mother of a 2-year-old boy noticed unusual behavior in her son, particularly after he had spent time with Cranmer, who was dating the boy's father. The mother learned that Cranmer had allegedly bathed with her son and, upon questioning, the child indicated Cranmer had touched him inappropriately.

A critical turning point occurred when a former roommate of Cranmer, identified as 'Ms. P,' discovered disturbing videos on a cellphone she had gifted to Cranmer. Ms. P had asked Cranmer to move out and return the phone. While reviewing its contents, Ms. P allegedly found a 14-second Snapchat video, filmed on May 6, 2026, showing Cranmer sitting on a toilet with her genitals exposed while the child touched her. Cranmer was reportedly laughing and making comments during the recording. Ms. P identified Cranmer by her distinctive tattoos, including one depicting breasts and a lightning bolt, and her voice, as well as recognizing her own bathroom in the video.

After Ms. P saved the video and turned the phone over to authorities, detectives obtained search warrants for the device and Cranmer's Snapchat account on May 28, 2026. A forensic examination reportedly uncovered additional videos of Cranmer and the child in the bathroom, some of which were saved in Snapchat's 'Memories' feature. The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office approved charges on July 7, 2026, leading to Cranmer's arrest on July 8, 2026.
