Kanye West, who legally changed his name to Ye, has been the subject of a series of serious bullying and harassment allegations that have significantly impacted his public image and business ventures. These claims primarily stem from his private school, Donda Academy, and his fashion and music enterprise, Yeezy, revealing a pattern of erratic and allegedly abusive behavior.

The initial wave of significant allegations emerged around late 2022 and early 2023, following Ye's highly publicized antisemitic comments. A former Yeezy marketing specialist, identified as 'Jane Doe,' filed a lawsuit in February 2025, accusing Ye of a relentless campaign of antisemitism and misogyny, including repeatedly calling himself Hitler and targeting her due to her Jewish faith. Ye's lawyers have attempted to dismiss this case, defending his actions as 'artistic expression.' In March 2026, Ye was also found liable and ordered to pay $140,000 to a former project manager for his Malibu home for injury and wrongful termination, though he filed a motion to overturn the decision.

Amidst these ongoing legal battles and controversies, Ye published a full-page apology in the Wall Street Journal in January 2026 for his past antisemitic remarks. He attributed his behavior to a previously undiagnosed traumatic brain injury from a 2002 car accident and his struggle with bipolar disorder, stating he was not a Nazi or antisemite. This apology coincided with the rollout of his new album, 'Bully,' which was released in March 2026.
